DAY 01: Pick up at AM (8:00-9:00) from Hotel Lobby

Begins with pick up from your hotel and then take you to central Taiwan to Nantou, where you will make a stop at the famous Sun Moon Lake. Over 100 sq km in size, the lake got its name because the northern part of it has the shape of the sun and then southern part is shaped like a crescent moon. Here you take the lake bus tour to visit Wen Wu Temple, Tehua Village, Tse-En Pagoda and the Holy Monk Shrine. The tour will next take you onto the small town of Puli, in the geographic heart of the island, known as a cultural and artistic heaven. The day will end in Taichung City with an overnight stay

Hotel: Del Lago Sun Moon Lake

DAY 02: will be spent largely in the historical and cultural town of Lukang, known as a center for arts and handicrafts, particularly wooden and bamboo items. It is also the nearest port to the cost of mainland China. In earlier years, the city was the site of magnificent homes and temples of uniquely Taiwanese architecture. Some of the structures still exist today, like that of Lung Shan Temple. The tour will then head to Kaohsiung by train or bus.

DAY 03: Greeted with hotel pick up, you will be transfer to Maopitou with a stop at Oluanpi Light House on the way to Kenting National Park. As Taiwan’s first National Park, established in 1984, it spans the Hengchun Peninsula. With Hengchun Peninsula translating to “Eternal Spring”, this says a lot about the area with fantastic climate, lush forest, beaches and reefs. The day concludes in Kaohsiung.

DAY 04: brings you to discover Kaohsiung City with stops at Chengching Lake which holds many attractions from Restoration Pagoda, islands, bridges, towers and pavilions, boating and aquariums as well as tree-lined paths. One of the main attractions you will discover is the seven-tiered Dragon and Tiger pagodas stand in the water of Lotus Lake near the graceful Spring and Autumn Pavilions, which is connected to the shore by a nine-cornered bridge. The tour will also bring you to the historic site of the former British Consulate. After this stop, you will board a bus or train back to Taipei City.
